Jasmin: 2021 Dallas Osprey Award Winner

Jasmine when she first came to us with his hitting mess as far as attendance is concerned she had kind of an adversarial relationship with some of the teachers I didn't really like care about school you could kind of tell that she had her heart wasn't really in to getting her classes completed when she decides to work crushed it like they're just always saw the potential knew she could but those were especially early on very sporadic. a whole lot last year a day before Thanksgiving my grandpa had a past I just know like he would have been upset with me if I wouldn't have graduated this year tell me this year she completely did a 180 probably the most dedicated and hardworking student we had this year I'm not going to finish in time this year I just felt like his voice in my head like this made me keep going to just well she just started the dedicating hours to class work and I still had like 11 credits left and honestly I don't think anybody thought I was going to crash we always thought the potential was there you know it was just a what what I always call TNT's just time and effort Mysteryland if you really believed in me like he was on the phone with me encouraging me and at that point it was just kind of us standing back and just kind of coach and a little bit like she was she was rocking it and was just us trying to keep up with her I had always kind of felt that she had the skills to make this happen it's just took her to the strengthen the idea to come to the same conclusion that the rest of his hat and I'm glad that you came to it and I'm glad they took we were here it out before my grandpa passed and he told my mom about it had a dream that I graduated but that he could see me but that he wasn't there no more play just made me think he's watching me if it wasn't for him and I probably wouldn't have graduated from what I understand of like why she came back so dedicated it's really awesome so she did a great job and I'm really proud of her
