Christopher: 2021 Irving Osprey Award Winner

Christopher was behind in his school work didn't really know what direction he was going his first year do much every time you ask him what he was doing a lot of times he was Sam chilling chilling when I first met him he was really quiet and it wasn't until a little while in that he came over and asked me for help for the first time she was one of my anytime I ask her for anything shoes I just sit right here and I hope you do it and we'll get through it one day that I was going to work with him he sat down and he looked particularly down and he told me that he didn't think that he was going to be able to graduate they had told me that I was going to graduate in my projected like 20-25 something like that almost was by there like just be like all right then I just dropped by because I imagine that you were in a race and that you know the people next to you had these nice souped up race cars and you had dinky little truck that would break down it doesn't matter what the other people went through you know they finish the Finish Line already you're still working on your race but that finish line is the same Finish Line that they went through you're going to graduate the same way that they did getting a work cited just going home working from home when I was here I would do nothing but work it's after that he thought of any said you know what yeah I think I can do it I mean night and day the young man came in his last couple of years and started taking care of his business he really saw that he could do it he saw the light at the end of the tunnel which motivated him to to work harder and get done Christopher is a a lot of work I spent a lot of time with you and I really hope that you keep working and you keep pushing for what you can do because I know that you can do it even if you don't believe it I believe in you wholeheartedly
