We believe in the value of time, shorter school days have proven to be a positive educational setting for many learners.
Homework takes time away from family and life out of school. We do not require it, but you are welcome to finish any assignments at home.
We want to give each student the attention they deserve to increase student achievement.
Our highly experienced educators are available to help students in the early morning hours, throughout the day, and into the early evening, spending the extra time and the extra care to increase student achievement.
We want our students to be successful, therefore we help them if they have English as their second language, in need of credit recovery, have an addiction, are homeless, or in need of any Special Education services. We are there for them.

Winfree Academy provides an opportunity for students to earn college credit while enrolled in high school through our Dual Credit program.
Dual Credit is a process through which a student may earn high school credit for successfully completing a college course that provides advanced academic instruction beyond, or in greater depth than, the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) for a corresponding high school course.
Winfree Academy works in partnership with North Central Texas College, Dallas College, Tarrant County College, UT Permian Basin, and Dallas Baptist University to provide Dual Credit opportunities.
Comprehensive high school curriculum is offered through a flexible individualized learning plan, utilizing online curriculum, and constant availability of a teacher. We inspire learners and ignite their hearts and minds to achieve the future of their choice.
We take pride in being present for our students, smaller classroom sizes makes it possible.
Our emphasis is placed on preparing students to be college and career ready while completing all requirements to earn a high school diploma, homework takes time away from projects that matter.
